Clark's Cosmic Calendar

Clark Planetarium is proud to launch Clark's Cosmic Calendar

A new way for visitors to explore themed experiences throughout the year. From time to time, we'll spotlight a specific theme that ties together our exhibits, films, events, and community programs.

Clark's Cosmic Calendar: April - Big and Small

Check out our Big and Small Events throughout April.

This April, we're inviting you to experience it from two radically different perspectives.
Welcome to Big and Small Month, part of our new Clark Cosmic Calendar—a themed experience where everything from our community events to our dome and IMAX films connects through a central idea. This month, we're celebrating scale—from the tiniest building blocks of life to the most massive structures in the cosmos.

Discover the Micro World

Kick things off at our Micro Days event, where kids and families will get hands-on with real lab-grade microscopes. You'll zoom in on everything from salt crystals to insect wings and see everyday objects in a brand-new light. It's an eye-opening look at the small stuff that makes up our big world.

Travel Across the Universe

Then, expand your view with the immersive dome film VAST, now playing in the Hansen Dome Theatre. This stunning journey through space puts you face-to-face with the awe-inspiring scale of the universe. You'll fly past stars, galaxies, and black holes—and discover just how big "big" really is.

Clark After Dark - April 22

Big fun for the big kid in you! Join us for Clark After Dark on April 22, our popular 18+ evening event featuring live music, drinks, activities, and access to exhibits after hours. It's a great way to experience the Planetarium in a whole new light—no kids, just cosmic vibes.

New Laser Shows

April also brings two new shows to our laser lineup:

Laser Taylor Swift: Volume 2 - More songs, more color, and more Swift!
Laser AC/DC - Crank up the volume with a high-energy ride through classic rock history.

Whether you're here for the science or the spectacle, there's something for everyone this month—from curious kids to grown-up stargazers.
