Community Programs
Clark Planetarium aims to inspire curiosity, raise awareness, and share excitement for our universe through the lens of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics). We promote STEAM engagement in learners of all ages and backgrounds, especially those who do not have easy access to the Clark Planetarium.
The Community Programs Department provides programming both within Clark Planetarium and throughout our community. We engage curious minds through in-depth discussions, engaging demonstrations, and a variety of hands-on activities.
Our current recurring programs include:
- Sensory Friendly Saturdays
- Micro Wednesdays
- Fun Science Friday
- Clark Creates
- Star and Solar Parties
Clark Planetarium welcomes invitations to attend community events such as school STEM nights, neighborhood festivals, and more. There is no charge for Clark Planetarium to participate in community events within Salt Lake County. Please reach out to us with as much information as possible to help us evaluate your request and prepare appropriate activities.
