Our office believes that helping students understand the role of the criminal justice system in a democracy is important to ensuring the persistence of our civil society. DA Gill is invited to speak at schools, where he takes the opportunity to teach and listen to the future leaders of Salt Lake County
DA Gill visited students at his Alma Mater, Kearns High School & spoke with students in a government class at Alta High School
DA Gill had the chance to speak with students at a leadership conference at Kearns High School over the summer. The District Attorney talked about his experience as a student leader at the same school when he was a teen. He also talked about the importance of staying informed to be a contributing member of a vibrant democracy.
We were invited to a government class to talk about the role of our office in the criminal justice system.
