The Employee Wellness Program is responsible for encouraging employees and their families to enhance their well-being through sustainable healthy lifestyle behaviors. Participants can begin the program by completing the New Participant Orientation.

Services

How to Earn Wellness Points

Participants begin earning points on January 1st and conclude point earnings on October 31st of each year. Incentive amounts are determined by the number of points participants earned between January 1st and October 31st. Participants earn points by completing the following activities:

  • Submit verifications of completed medical exams and vaccinations
  • Engage in SLCo Employee Wellness sponsored programs
  • Attend virtual and/or in-person events and workshops
  • Track healthy behaviors in WellSteps
  • Listen to the Healthy Lifestyles Wellcast
  • Participate in Corporate Games
  • Read monthly newsletters and health hub articles

The SLCo Employee Wellness Program and WellSteps partner to provide participants with wellness programs to improve health behaviors and reduce health risks. Track points and engage in wellness activities on your own or with other participants using the WellSteps app.

Health & Wellness workshops and events are designed to engage, educate, and motivate participants to incorporate wellness into their lives both in and out of the workplace.

The SLCo Employee Wellness Wellcast is a fun, entertaining, and enlightening look at health and wellness. It breaks down complex health topics and interviews experts in the wellness field to help participants live healthier lives. Tune into the Wellcast Series each month and earn points towards your annual cash and HSA incentives.

The Salt Lake County Employee Wellness Program uses evidence-based practices to improve quality of life, enhance productivity, and create a culture of wellness in the workplace.
