Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation Hosts Free Hockey Event for Kids
Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation's "Try Hockey for Free" program invites children ages 4-9 to explore the sport of hockey in a fun, confidence-building environment. This free, family-friendly program offers kids a unique opportunity to learn basic hockey skills, make new friends, and experience the excitement of the sport.
New this year is a session specifically for girls to get them on the ice and coached by players from the University of Utah Women's Hockey Team and the Utah Lady Grizzlies. This session, held at Salt Lake City Sports Complex, connects young female participants with positive female role models who are passionate about the sport.

9:30 am - 10:30 am (Co-ed)
11:15 am - 12:15 pm (Girls)
Acord Ice Center (5353 W 3100 S, West Valley City)
10:30 am - 11:30 am (Co-ed)

Equipment will be provided, and each session is led by experienced coaches to ensure a positive experience. This is program is available in partnership with USA Hockey.
