Document Copy and Certified Copy Ordering Information

* If you request documents via email, you must wait for an email response before coming in to purchase the documents.

  • Document copies - $2 per page
  • Historical copies - $5 per page
  • Certified copies - $5 for document certification + $2 per page

Documents will be processed as soon as possible in the order in which they are received. Time frames will vary due to the volume of requests. No requests will be moved ahead of other requests. Please contact us if you believe there is a problem with your request or if you believe it has taken an undue amount of time for the order to be fulfilled.

Each certified copy has a unique identification number and identifiers for tracking. Certified copies and tracking information are securely retained by the Recorder's office.

When submitting a document copy request:

  • All fields are required except the optional comments field.
  • Review your document request and requestor information carefully before submitting. You will be responsible for fees charged on the order as submitted.
  • If you are unsure of the book and page of the document requested, please include the book and page of the index/abstract book in which your document is located, the line on the page, and other information such as party names, dates, document type, etc.
  • If you would like the document certified, select Certified.
  • Incomplete information can result in an unprocessed order.

Once your order is complete:

  • The Recorder's office will notify you by email that your document copy request is ready.
  • You will be charged for the copy.
  • You may pick up your copy at the Recorder's office during normal business hours.
  • If you have an EFT account, you may request the document be emailed to you in the comments section.
