Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office Announces Transition in Communications Leadership

South Salt Lake, Sept. 20, 2024 — After more than four years of exceptional service supporting the mission and vision of the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office Brittany Karzen is excited to move onto a new opportunity with the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole. 

Effective Sunday, September 22, Karzen will no longer serve as the Director of Communications or as a Public Information Officer (PIO) for the Sheriff’s Office. For media inquiries please continue to reach out to us via slsheriffpio@saltlakecounty.gov or the media hotline at (385) 468-8880.
